Hip-hop isn't easier.

Well all she was probably doing was making simple crossfades from one track to another if she was indeed DJing. Agreed that turntablism is difficult, but just playing hip hop isn't...it's not as complex harmonically as trance music is. Being a really good hip hop/scratch DJ though requires more skills than these guys in my high school that DJed a few parties and played a lot of hip hop had...just simple crossfades, bad mixing wasn't as obvious. I guess you can get away with it more with hip hop than trance...the simple crossfades..radio type mixing, because the tracks are much shorter and don't rely so much on melody.

hip hop is all about the phrasing.
well at least spinning a simple hiphop set is.

Lindsey looks pretty rough there, I'd hit it if it was dark and I was drunk, but I'd rather hit the asian chick in the background.

Yellow Fever FTW.

biggest crap i've heard in a long time. Hip Hop requires beat-matching and a more sought-out sequence.

Mixes can be more "cut" oriented than progressive transitions, but you still need to know your beats (1/3) so you know when to cut.

The scientist cannot capture the whole cosmos in thought. In his mind he makes a kind of microcosm, which we see as an analogue of the cosmos. In this way we try to get a feeling for the whole. The artist, I suppose, gets a feeling for the whole some other way.”

Isn't that insane? You'd think she'd learn since she's trying to get more adult roles.
