I know who Human Blue is, and altho it's not exactly my cup of tea, I know they're decent. I was talking about the title and cover. Either way, title or not, I wouldn't be very interested in it.

Enough negative talk, I'll fuck off and let whoever likes this appreciate it.

I bet you already missed his earlier productions which I rank as some of the best and most innovative progtrance tunes since the mid 90s.
So put your prejudices aside and listen to the music. After all that is what you are paying for.

I'm not prejudiced you fucking dolt. I simply haven't heard the producer. I haven't heard every single act you like, because I'm interested in far too many genres to note every single artist from every single one of them.

But of course. You're Rebel9. You get immediately pissed off and condescending when anyone is negative anywhere near someone you like. Yeah, the only reason I'm saying something negative (about the title- for fuck's sake!) is because I'm an ignorant fool who is inferior to ye. It can't possibly be that I have a valid reason for something (and even explained it, and highlighted the tongue I had in my cheek), no! It's because I know nothing of trance and its mysteries!

The fact you recommended him means dick to me, because my tastes don't coincide with yours. So I look at an album and see an amateur looking cover and title, and without listening I'm not going to buy it just because Rebel9 says all trance fans should.

apearently you mixed it up with someone else since Human Blue is a HIM and not THEY.

I must have overrestimated you since you haven't heard him. Anyone whos been in touch with psytrance/goatrance, and no this is not a small subgenre but a quite huge one, have heard of him and his been around for well over 10 years now with more than 5 albums under his belt. Human Blue was by the way the only act to have two signed tracks to two different mix compilations by J00F (the Whitelabel Euphorias). I take this as you've never been in touch with the goa/psy scene at all.
No I'm not negative when people are comment a release in negative terms since it's logical that people like different music in different ways. But I find it hilirious that someone can judge the music without heard it before by seeing the cover.
Finally you dickhead I never forced anyone to buy it since listening to an album before purchase is what people usually do. But your so called "valid reason" seems to be a reason enough not even giving it a listen.

Yeah, because I don't particularly listen to psy trance. And that may bring me down in your "estimation" but I don't especially give a fuck. That I don't like a genre that you do does not make me inferior and it certainly doesn't make me ignorant. I know that how much you know about every sub-genre and scene in trance is all-important in character judgement to you, but I have expansive tastes and limited cash flow. I'm sorry if that makes me a bad person.

What I find hilarious is that you've completely and utterly missed the point in your haste to defend your pride. I've never once even fucking commented on the music itself. What I said is that the presentation of the album can be important in the purchasing decision, particularly for whim purchases. I've not passed any judgement on the music and nor have I claimed to. I've merely stated that I will not be buying the album as I haven't heard it, and the cover and title certainly don't make me want to reverse that decision. I fail to see how "I'm not going to buy it until I hear it" is in any way, shape or form passing judgement on the music.

My reason for not listening is I have a 256kbs connection. I can't stream videos, download music or do anything in any reasonable amount of time. Think this is a fabrication? Look up the current ID Competition and see my comments there. Then look at the date next to them. Of course, you didn't know that, but it didn't stop you jumping to a conclusion and making a personal attack on me, did it?

So save me your patronising bullshit and next time try reading what's being said fully before you leap into an attack. It might save you getting your ass kicked.

indeed it brought you down considoring you refered to it in a manner such as "I'm interested in far too many genres...". You don't give a fuck. Fair enough. I just thought anyone who had seriously been into trance music for more than 2 years had given psy and goa trance a chance. It's funny that you found my comment so hostile like if I refered to you as a "bad person". That certainly wasn't the case.

No I didn't know that and I honestly don't give a squat about your connection since that wasn't the excuse you gave in the first place. Besides what is the so called "personal attack" on you?

Kicked by whom? You? And read what? The so called "joke" as you refered to your own comment in the first two replies?
All this bullshit from your side and we could go on for 10 more pages but the final result would still be that you haven't even heard any samples from the album. And your second argument would be "I don't listen to psytrance". Besides this isn't even psytrance but progressive trance with a touch of psy and classic goa If i have to be picky about genres.

I have given it a chance. And I don't like it. That too much for you to comprehend? You seem to be implying that giving it a chance means liking it.

I didn't give any excuse for not listening. Have you read any of my posts properly? I gave a reason why I'm not buying it without listening.

And let's see. You call me a sissy, you claim I'm ignorant and you call me prejudiced. All off the back of practically nothing.

Kicked by whom? You?

Well all you've demonstrated so far is an inability to understand basic posts and a tendency to jerk your knee like an idiot. So please illuminate how exactly you're winning this argument.

I made a serious point in a joking way. What you failed to read properly is just about everything since. I've shown why quite clearly and you've utterly failed to refute anything I've said.

Arf. You're so fucking clueless it's laughable. I never said I'm not buying this album because I don't like psy. You told me if I listen to psy I should have heard of Human Blue. I tell you I rarely listen to psy. That has fuck all to do with the genre of this album (unlike you I can actually read and I've already noted that this isn't a pure psy album from the opening post). I've never stated I haven't listened or won't buy because I think it's psy. I've said I won't buy until I've heard it. That's all. Everything else is you misunderstanding pretty simple posts.

Like I said. Learn to read properly before you jump in to make an argument.

No I haven't implied it you fuckface. it wasn't until your last post that you even mentioned that you don't listen to psytrance.

quote:

I didn't give any excuse for not listening. Have you read any of my posts properly? I gave a reason why I'm not buying it without listening.

Neither did you read my post when you claimed that I stated that everyone should buy it. I wrote that this is a release which should interest anyone into trance music. You already wrote in one of your replies that the esthetic value was important. They might be but then again there are bunch of people, me included who don't give a squat about the cover of the CD. It's not like I'm going to sit there and gaze at my collection and rank them after the most nifty cover design. Besides this isn't really a CD which you stumble upon randomly in a normal CD shop and thinks "this one has a cool cover, let's have a listen". People who probably buy it have either heard the artist before or are into this type of music. I'm pretty sure a majority of those doesn't care much about the cover design. If you look at the average psytrance cover they are uglier than this.

quote:

And let's see. You call me a sissy, you claim I'm ignorant and you call me prejudiced. All off the back of practically nothing.

Yes you've already proved why you are ignorant in your very first reply in this thread. Case closed.

quote:

Well all you've demonstrated so far is an inability to understand basic posts and a tendency to jerk your knee like an idiot. So please illuminate how exactly you're winning this argument.

So you are claiming to win an arguement in a thread where you are discussing a release which you haven't even heard glimps of? I take that other comment back. You are more than a sissy.

quote:

So where have I stated that you have to buy it even if you haven't heard it?
