Difference is PVD can mix and Tiesto can't

Flame me all you like. Ive said this before in another thread and I saw him live the other nite, and its proof, he spun some top tunes but his mixing was far from what it should be.. (perhaps he should concentrate more on mixing rather than jumping and dancing behind the decks)

Get ready for some big-time flaming from the rest for this; lol.

I don't know about Tiesto, but PvD is probably the best mixer in this entire world. Trust me, I know how hard it already is trying to get 2 tracks in phase for a little longer than one bar; PvD's transitions sometimes lasts more than 2 minutes, and that by itself deserves worship.

Youre getting me wrong. I dont dislike Tiesto and I didn't say he cannot mix. His track Lethal Industry is one of my fav. tunes at the moment. He is a gifted producer. But if he is supposedly the number 1 DJ in the world right now, you'd expect his mixes to be consistent. When he played live here a few nites ago his mixes werent consistent. They were a bit rough and a 1 or 2 a little off. And this is not the first time ive heard this from him - and yes I know, people make mistakes and DJ's are only human.. but surely theres a limit???

NO human is perfect neither tiesto, pvd, armin, james holden, etc...
So the shite about "A NUMBER 1 DJ" is worthless.
Every person likes a dj, so saying one is the best is complete shite.
I like pvd at rosenmontags rave, i like tiesto at DD, i like marco v at club hague, i like paul oakenfold 1999 mixes, I like everyone.
The fact you say you have a favotite dj is the personal taste of music, maybe for you is pvd or tiesto the best dj but for an other person someone else, so "THE BEST DJ EVER" --> DOESN'T exist b/c of the vast variety of tastes...

Archimedes has spoken
