The cops aren't to blame for this and Guest House isn't to blame. The only person to blame is the scumbag and his girlfriend who raped and killed her. Second to blame are the girls themselves. They should have known better. They broke countless laws, and would have broken more if their car wasn't towed, endangering the lives of others. The attendants at the towyard wouldn't return their car for a reason. If they'd let those two wasted girls take a car, they'd have been in deep shit if they were pulled over later or if they got into an accident later, which was a lot more likely than one getting raped and killed. What they should have done is taken a cab home like a good drunk and gotten their car in the morning.

They have gotten the clue and realize what goes on inside. As a result, they've decided that they don't want to have those clubs around and are closing places

first off, what i was trying to say was that if one of them was sober she could have taken the keys and driven them home but since they towe peoples cars that makes things much more difficult, i didnt know all of them were drunk (i dunno the whole story to this) so in that case i agree they should have played it safe and gotten a cab.

second those gurls arn't to blame they just wanted to have fun like any of us do, and you'd be a hypocrite to think otherwise because we all used Fake id's at one point or another in our life. This wouldn't have happened if it wernt for all the rules, laws and regulations you have to follow in the states.

So if they have gotten the clue, why don't they shutdown every single clubs, bars, pubs in the city while there at it?? because as far as you know the people on the next block are poppin pills, doin and sellin drugs, im sorry but this is NYC you can't have control on everything that people are fuckin doin, unless of course this has become a total dictatorship....

What do you mean people were getting stabbed at PVD? I didnt hear anything about it....did anybody get seriously hurt?

When was their a shooting at Spirit? There was one at Crobar a few months ago.

Also, when I commented about the PvD stabbing, I stupidly assumed that people knew that I was talking about New Year's Eve less than 2 years ago.

First, read news, then comment on issues relating to the news. Arguing with the uninformed is a real pet peeve of mine.

Second, those girls are to blame right after the guy who killed the one. I wasn't arguing that they were to blame because they were underage. I was arguing that they were to blame because they showed no personal responsibility for themselves. They drove into the city fully prepared to go to a club and get falling down drunk. Their plan to get home was to drive home, which is why there was such drama when it was towed. Her getting killed had nothing to do with age. I'd have the same opinion if it were two 24 year-olds, the only difference is that two 24 year-olds would be less likely to do something so stupid because in the additional 6 years, they'd probably seen a few people screw up enough times.

Third, they are targeting all clubs in that area. I heard that Crobar was shut down early last night, as well as a few other places. This girl's murder wasn't the sole reason why they're cracking down. The precinct of the city is one of the few places where crime has increased in the past few years. There's been a ton of assaults and grand larceny complaints filed, too. Just watch, in that section of the city, this isn't the last closing we're going to see in the near future.

Court Date is wednesday morning...Hip hop is what causes the drama. However, it's those nights that make the most money..I herd some celebs drop like $10,000 on a table for drinks and stuff..Really crazy

yea thats true, i still listen to real Hip Hop but not the commercial crap they put out these days, and i don't even consider it Hip Hop its just plain garbage, anyone can rap about cars, rims, cash, hoe's, its very sad to see a movement completely die out like this...

in the beginning i never even thought that it would revert back to being a nightclub...

and again...the root of the problem occurred cuz of (UNDERAGE) drinking...do ppl notice that its more often ALCOHOL that is at the root of all evil, not substances that ppl are taking?! alcohol causes more reported fights, incidents than other things combined?!

alcohol is the worst drug of them all ... well its up their

Sorry for the loss of club life in NYC. Come to Montreal. Everything is pretty much hunky dory here...
