currently listening to CD 2 .... with the aid Mary-Jane ....if ya know what im sayin!

review comin in 30 mins lol

Edit:
ok, so im writing this to the sounds of Les Djinns(Trentemøller Mix)....after listening to CD2 i do get a feel that whole set had a jukebox feel to it as someone said but because at times it does flow and you have to say there are some great songs on here, im goin to give it a 7.5/10 the last 0.5 only coz of CD1 which i think is great for late evening hanging out with friends. And CD2 had its moments too...especially the opening 15 mins or so.

Sad to see, because I was going to pick this one up, now I'm 2nd guessing, especially for the cost of it ($35 since it's still an import)

I havn't heard CD1 yet, but CD2 was pretty bad. Great music, but the mixing and programing will leave you scratching your head alot of the time...

This section here had me really going..."what the...??"

Lopazz - Share My Rhythm
My My - Clean Break
Claude Vonstroke - Who's Afraid Of Detroit
Lindstrøm - I Feel My Space (M.A.N.D.Y Mix)
Heartz4 - Intimacy Girl

Especially I Feel Space into Intimacy Girl...the drop in energy and change in direction was so sudden I thought we had accidentally skipped tracks...

There's one on www.progressive-sounds.com, but the writer is biased and hypercritical. I enjoyed every minute of both discs, preferably CD 2. I must've listened to each disc 5/6 times in my car on the way to school/work. Great for driving!

tbf, i think the progressive sounds review is spot on. and as clovis says, the programming on this is fucked.

I thought the programming was a little offbeat myself, but it didn't bother me... the music was great. I liked it because it was different.

I think its something that inherently bothers DJs more

I'm just not as critical on those kind of things like a lot of TAs are. If the music's good, I can let "bad" programming / mixing go. I can see the other side of the picture and see where other DJs are coming from though. For me, the music speaks for itself.

If that's all you want, why don't you just make your own compilations? Don't bother to mix them, just put a bunch of songs you like onto one CD and burn.
It's cool you appreciate the productions, but M.A.N.D.Y. gets their chunk of sales revenue from mixing and programming pre-existing tracks, and when they can't do that better than your average Joe, what's the point?

LOL. Chill bro. Btw, that's not what I meant. Of course I have high expectations and I can be found to be pretty critical myself, but I seemed to enjoy the flow of this mix despite the many criticisms its received. I'm sorry you can't understand that.

I don't understand what you thought was so hostile about my post that you felt it necessary to tell me to "chill bro."
