I've heard good things about F1 Career Challenge. I still have my copy of f1 Championship Edition by Psygnosis for PS1 (1997 season). Still one of my fave games ever...plus it's got good ol' Murray Walker doing commentary.

I think the value of an F1 game is lost unless you play with a wheel.

Ive tried playing PC versions, and you just cannot play because of the digital controls, but hook up a wheel, and weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

If you have a decent pc and a wheel, get F1 Challege 99-02 by EA. Gret game, and EXTREMLY hard. Ive played the entire EA library, and this one is definitly the hardest.

Not even close to being realistic...if you want an extremly realistic game...get a wheel (good one aka Logitech Momo or the newer one ... Logitech Pro)and pay for the subscribtion to LFS2 (Live For Speed 2) or you can download the game (free) and try it out for Single Player and 2 basics races online with other players.. There are only 2 games who are officialy approved by the F1 ... and one of them is LFS2. Amazing physics in this game, as close as you can get to reality. These guys used this game for the BMW Sauber racing simulator at all in the International Autoshows, BMW baught the game so they can use it in their car simulators, and as a result BMW donated their F1 racing car model to LFS2 to modulate it. Anyway, try it out :-) have fun!

Seriously? Are these the same simpulators they had set up at Best buys? I tried the BMW sponsored ones there, but it didnt feel right. Although I think its because they had all the help features on.

I have the Logitech Momo sitting right beside me

The music in that vid would have been appropriate if Schumi was a flaming homosexual. But he's not. So on mute, it's a good vid.

Ya dude LFS2 is the shit, im not familiar with the game they have set up at Best Buy, i was reffering to the BMW racing simulator which includes a "replica" cockpit of the F1 monopost car that they bring to autoshows and uses the same software that LFS2 does. Like i said, they bought it from this independent company, which is a bunch of guys who developed the game and in return they offered them the BMW Sauber F1 racing car to model it for the game. And now they are started to get sponsored by other companies as well. EA games NFS tried to buy them, but they didnt sell it :-)

Mika passing Schumi on the straight after eau rouge at spa francorchamps is the best pass in F1, the video was very well done, for a man ive once despised, i must say, since his 2005 season, have grown to admit that he is simply the best...raikkonen, the driver i love to support will never fill his shoes at ferrari, and neither will alonso fill kimi's at mclaren...i think im not watching the 2007 season, especially thanks to engine freeze...thanks max and bernie, you ruin F1...

"You are virtually the ring leader, the way I see it."
Then, I blew out the candle.

Shhh...this is a thread dedicated to Schumi's retirement, not your TV schedule for the next year lol, let's keep it that way ;-)
