Yeah, and when it comes to your parents, you should still respect them, 'cause they gave birth to you. Sure, it's one thing if they abuse you and shit, 'cause it's like... "They brought me to this world, but they abuse me, so what was the point in giving birth to me?" (In case someone thinks like this), I mean... you're still alive, you CAN do whatever you want with your life. You can run away from home, live with a couple of friends and stuff.

but i mean you're right. i love my mom (obviously), but she really drives me up a wall. never supported anything i wanted to do. she pretty much has her own agenda for me, and when i don't follow it, she makes me feel like shit. she's manipulative and narrow minded and never admits when she's wrong.

she is consumed with me and my life and my whole family sees it and says it's unhealthy. she's like obsessed with me and she has done some pretty serious emotional damage to me.

i don't wish she was dead or anything, but she is seriously contemplating on joining the peace corps next year and i will be doing fucking cartwheels if she does. like, "SEE YA! DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT U IN THE ASS"

Let me explain something to you, at to some degree I do agree with you. But talking in family terms, lets say you were fuking abused and shyt... does that mean that you have to continue taking their shyt and their problems? No, you can simply leave and live your own peacefully life where you can delevop a good attitude and not be sorrounded by bs things that you have to take from other stupid people that are fuk ups.
Sometimes these people have problems and do stupid shyt and take it on to their kids.
In your explanation about the comparison of being abused by a friend and a relative its not a good one. Well, when you are a kid and you are being abused you basically have no controll over it, its that simple. Its like when you fuking turn 18(legal) and you continue to take shyt from your parents, its your fault if you dont do anything about it, you can simply leave the house and start a new life. When you compare it to a friend, idk about you but i wouldn take that kind of shyt from a friend, its like I say I have a problem with you one time not two times. How many cases have you heard of a kid being abused by a friend at a young age? he might be bullied but thats all...

But as I said, when a kid is being abused at a young age, when he is developing its another story, they are afraid and do not take action what so ever... but when they become young adults and decide to still take shyt from their parents its something diffrent. How many cases have you heard of lets say an 18 or older guy/girl still being abused by their parents? This abuse usually takes place when they are infant

Ok, here's how it all went:

I was having woodwork in school, and symptoms started showing (I can't remember what though), so I went to the bathroom, 'cause I was all scared and shit. I stood there, looking at myself in the mirror, and I felt my arm, and the rest of the left part of my body, just went numb, all paralyzed and shit, so I started panicing (of course) and like... tried to move my arm with my other arm, LOLZ, but yeah... so I went out of the bathroom, walked up a few sets of stairs and sat down, until some teacher came up to me and asked what was wrong (As said, I really didn't look cool at all, lmfao) and I said I can't move my arm and shit. First she brought a friend of mine and our woodwork teacher, then they brought the nurses and shitz. So went to the the room where the nurses hang out and shit, and they call for an ambulance. The whole effect started wearing out by then, but as I got into the ambulance it came back. We drove to the hospital, and they did some routine checks and shit like that, and after a few days I was about 70% restored, and I could kinda walk properly and all that.

I stayed at the hospital for about a week, then I went home and stayed there for a few days, before I went back to school. I remember it was SO nice to just stay at home, playing Metroid: Zero Mission!

abuse comes in many forms. of course it's possible for an 18 year old to still be getting emotionally and verbally abused by his or her mom or dad. it happens all the time.

and you're right about once u get a certain age, u don't have to take it any more. i was just trying to make a point in temperate's defense, because everyone was like, "dude, that's fucked up, that's your dad, bla bla bla" but really, we dont know what happened or what the situation is. what if his dad is a drug addicted asshole who abuses his mom? temperate, i'm just giving examples obviously. but all i'm saying is that i didn't judge him by what he was saying about his father. i just thought, "damn, his dad must have done some fucked up shit to him for him to be happy about a stroke"
