I thought, "Oh right, if I categorically eliminate all other people, it's just me and her. She'd like that.
"Especially you" I said.
"You are virtually the ring leader, the way I see it."
Then, I blew out the candle.

D&T and Grant Thornton are evils. Damn auditors making my work miserable . Making me create bunch of useless documentation and slowing me down
Joys of working for a bank under the CFO certification process.

Weight jetplane: fill up a huge pool with water and put markings of the same measurement one above the other and throw the jet plane inside and see how high the water rises and after that you remove the plane and throw objects of the same weight (that you know) into the water till it reaches the same level
Wouldn't placing the plane in the pool just show you the volume of water the plane displaces and not the actual weight of the plane?

At Merrill Lynch...hiring manager shows me the intranet during the interview and points at our CEO. She's a middle aged woman and asks me "Do you think she's hot?!"
(at this point I pretty knew I was in!!...which self-respecting manager would show someone he's not going to hire something confidential)
We both look at each other for an awkward moment and agree she was far from it! LOL
I love you Jim!

haha kinda...used to be a trader and my cat's name was risky.
Risk from a financial professional's point of view is not necessarily a bad thing. For the most part (systematic risk) it can be managed through various methods like asset allocation, derivatives etc.
