I mean that in a totally platonic sense too, Nicole.

We had a great time! The DJ that opened for Sander was really good.
We even got Sander to sign my roommate's record too, nice guy.
iclone - I was looking for you to say "hello" but there were a lot of women that were "about 5'10" -- have white streaks in my hair".

-jv- OWNED last night! Fresh talent that never ceases to amaze me! I look forward to seeing him time & time again.
I felt like Sander's set was too "pre-programmed". It was good but nothing that made me go wow. It was hard to believe this was the same DJ that took Essential Mix of the year in 2001. The whole DVJ concept is "cool" and all but after seeing it a few times I feel as though it can limit the DJ at times.
With all that said I still had a fantastic night out with the exception of having a broken window in my wife's car & about $700 worth of stuff stolen (ipod, phone, wife's stethoscope, Credit Cards). That SUCKS! We've been up ever since dealing w/ all that mess. So brutal!
yea dallas is getting bad with the car breakins. had mine broken into for the 4th or 5th time (can't remember) a couple weeks ago. it blows.

Sounds like you and I had about the same night. I was a little more impressed with Sander that you were and really enjoyed his set. The guy before him was fantastic. Met Sander before he went on. He was extremely gracious to me and my wife.
Got to see the encores, against my will you might say. Go out to get the ol' Tahoe out of valet and, waddayaknow, they have lost my keys. Finally got home around 5:15 after a tow truck unlocked my car and towed it to my house while we were in a taxi. I have to get my house and car keys changed because some ass clown has them in his pocket most likely.
What really pisses me off is I just got my Kroger preferred customer key chain card, and now that's gone too. F**kers.
Had mucho fun though. The club had great energy all night.
Nic, we were going to hang with you guys later, but you know how pleasant I was at the end of Seven right? Next time.
Cheers

Did anyone ID Sander's tracklist? There were a few that I was familiar with, but there were a couple of tracks that I really liked that I had never heard before.

i suck with tracklist ID'ing, but here are some:
fatboy slim - star 69
who's who - sexy fuck
justice vs simian - we are your friends
sander kleinenberg - this is miami [this is not miami remix]
danny tenaglia feat. celada - music is the answer
lol. yeah. i can do the ones with words

i can understand about the DVJ bit -- can imagine it'd get old pretty quickly if you see the same DJ often. didn't really bother me this time, but i did recognize most of the clips from a couple of months ago. still had a great night!
didn't know you went through that hassle with your truck, steve. i'm wearing black today to mourn the loss of your kroger plus tag and will conduct a moment of silence this evening while listening to sander. and hey, given your end-of-the-night state, i'm sure you would have loved eden. next time!
