Well it would seem then that responsibility for your failure to recruit anyone from TA lays at Trance Critics' feet and not TA's, as I can name several TA's who are both exceptional writers and "know their shit."

In that case, the only criteria not being met is the desire to work for you, which can hardly be blamed on TA.

I wouldn't really trust your concept of "exceptional writing" as far as I can throw it, but the point is you could probably name a maximum of thirty regulars here who really know what they're talking about and are intelligent, out of 60,000+ members.

I can honestly say that after reading some of the reviews at Trance Critic, I can't say I trust yours either. Particularly the review of Angello's "MOS Sessions" disc - The review reads as if it's written by the music editor for a bad high school newspaper.

And regardless of how many regular posters here may meet your criteria, the fact remains that they're here. In light of this, your claim that it's somehow the TA communties fault for you not recruiting any writers from this forum is utterly ridiculous.

Give me a stylistic deconstruction to support that claim and I might consider you opinion. Either way I don't think many TA members can write better.

Are you fucking dense? We're talking in relation to a public poll of TA members. The point I'm making, which you've avoided with you miserable "if I take it completely literally I can argue with it" method of debate, is that even if they did want to write for us, TC would accept about Dick% of TA's population, because very few here know what they're talking about. Which makes the idea that TA is an authority on electronic music pure bollocks. Which in turn makes the idea that our poll should be "official" or superior to any other poll deemed official also pure bollocks.

Oh, and forgive me for discounting your opinions on good writing when you fail to follow simple pragmatics. No wonder you don't think we write well- you're probably incapable of following.

Yes I'd love to spend my free time playing english teacher for an article written on your website.

Needless to say the appearance of needless elipses and utterly pointless rhetorical questions combined with a completely generic writing style left me bored and dissatisfied.

Ah, arguing apples to my oranges. Always a great way to win an argument; change the subject.

No worries, you're forgiven. Given the manner in which you conduct yourself on this site day in and day out, I could hardly take offense from anything you have to say.

Arf. So much for your opinion then.

If you'd actually read the flow of the topic leading up to the post you'd replied to, you'd realised you were the one who changed the subject by taking something completely out of its context. But then, you are a clown.

Actually, I wasn't even a part of that discussion. I simply raised a different question altogether, to which you replied with a vague post citing your "criteria" for employment.

You seem to have missed the point completely; you simply posited a weak argument, and it was incredibly easy for me to disect. So maybe instead of making knee-jerk, reactionary statements you'll learn to think next time and actually make a rational argument that displays some level of critical thinking.

Oh, and the personal insults are yet again another absolutely brilliant way to win an argument. Way to go

What actually happened was that Swamper tried to highlight my hypocrisy by pointing out how I have a recruitment offer in my sig, so I pointed out how few TA members we'd actually consider good enough, and you took the way I worded it literally and then tried using it to argue against my point. Which is deliberately ignoring the pragmatics of a statement so you can make a false claim to victory and hope I don't notice the bullshit you've pulled.

So save me your pseudo-intellectual bollocks and save me your critical dissections that involve highlighting allegedly pointless ellipses and fuck off out of my conversation. And I don't care about personal insults, because I don't like clowns who think they're clever.

And I don't care for individuals who have absolutely nothing to contribute.

You're no better than Googooly or Arcadia.

I have contributed as much to this thread as all the other people who disagreed, in fact even more than some as I've given justification. Only you don't have the balls to argue with those people, especially when Swamper hasn't posted.
