claws arent just fingernails to cats, they assist in balance, defense and everyday mobility. declawing not only can damage the cat's nerves and cause pain for life - its akin to cutting your finger tendons in your hand, the lower arm muscles cannot be exercized and will atrophy. (it's cruelty)
