You're my new guru mikman

But I agree... don't judge people based on what they wear, what they listen to, that's just being closed minded. Judge them on who they are.

I'm sure there are some Ginos that are assholes, but I'm sure most of them aren't. Same goes for ravers or any other group of people.

Personally I don't fall into any of those type of categories (gino, raver, etc.) which is fine by me. I would rather be my own person than labeled a Gino/raver/whatever.

Here is a concept nobody really likes...

Don't judge anyone. Period.

If someone disrespects or treats badly why not just disassociate with them...

You can't help forming opinions about people you meet or know, it's human nature... just don't judge them based on what they're wearing, or what crowd they hang with...

That's not true anymore... invicta bags are made very cheaply nowadays... I used to have an invicta bag that lasted me over 5 years. Their new can bags rip and break within a month.

It's not surprising that when I was in Italy 2 years ago, no one at all sold the bags. I don't know what happened to the company...

LoL... VW GTI's are considered to be pretty "gino"... right up there with mustangs...

I drive a riceboy car, 94 Civic HB... although civic's are starting to get a Gino rep now as well...

Thanks Blue Neon...

I said the same...1992 was not a popular year for VWs let alone the GTIs....mine is Montana Green...I have seen since I bought the car...maybe 8 GTIs same color...in 5 years. Other colors are also rare...not as rare as mine...but in any case I hardly saw it as a Gino car. When I bought it it was a pretty hardcore car...not too many peeps had em and the guys that were selling them were all late twenties, early thirties...mature Euro dudes.

But unfortunately VWs are becoming gino cars especially the older models as the young ginos start buying them...the older models like mine are now pretty cheap so the ginos are picking them up and modifying them to be race cars...idiots...I hate how all these clowns (not just ginos) who think that a 4 cylinder GTI or Civic is going to be a real presence at a drag strip. Its a fun car, but it is not FAST. Quick yes...Fast no.

Anyways...sorry for the ranting peeps...I am so overprotective of my GTI.

hehe oh man .. GINO threads are always jokez cuz they're juss so funny to talk about .. John Travolta Saturday night fever eat yer heart out ! :P

but yea i could go on for pages about this but i'm not heh .. juss wanna tell ya guys what i find funny. Whenever i chill in the area around Bayview and Hwy 7 in Richmond Hill itz always amusing to see one half of Hwy 7 filled with Asian bars, cafes and restaurants along with Japanese cars.. then on the other side u have a Gino filled area with club Paparazzi , Just Deserts and an entire parkin lot filled with Mustangs, Chevy's, Pontiacs, and hatchbacks hahaha ..

itz like .. maybe the reason why a lot of us don't get along is cuz we all segregate ourselves like this ??! i mean heh itz crazy .. but i guess that's just the nature of our city with all itz multiculturalism everyone has their own 'thing' going .. trance unite us !

and yea yea yea about judging people and all that .. everyone knows its rude to judge of course. but itz the asshole GINO's that give the ppl that DRESS like GINO's a bad name !

wow!
ive heard this Gino stuff before and thought about it and came up with this:
for men this can be a funny subject to touch on without getting flamed by women but ill be blunt anyway,
lol
be it a raver or gino, some of us go to the gym and work out,its hard to be sorrounded by beautiful hardbodied women
with T and A floppin around on stair masters all day!we all
like to get some now and then!or like me all the time.
women are just so gorgeous!
the thing is we all go about meeting and getting them differently.so ya when we go out to party its there,(raver or gino)its in the back of our head that women blow our minds!we have all "gone out to the bar/club to "pick up"
at least one time in our life, and if you deny this your either gay which is fine,or your lying to your self,ok so mabe you see it as a phase or whatever but still try to remember those times when you think about women and just letting go and saying "man!i need a good lay"I hope because
i have these tendacies and thoughts im not being stereotyped as a pig, gino, player etc.IM just being a guy
and i sometimes may conform to women eg.style,hair....i mean we all need some female lovin......no?...
we all remember and love grease and saturday night fever
I think this is the Gino types you are talking about(modernized though)when we know our selves(ravers or ginos)a little better we become better people and are more honest.I have gone to raves and been all messed up and enjoyed the music and even though wasnt thinking about women couldnt help noticing women decked out in next to nothing club clothes, looking good and having fun even though im there with my girlfreind.Other times I might decide to get dressed up and got to the bar to "pick up"and have drinks with the boys.I think the whole Gino thing and the jealosy has to do with women and whose got and who doesnt.Shame cause we should be glad ALL people are haveing fun in the bars\clubs,cause if were not glad and happy for people going out and doing there thing. Its deeper than just clubbing or raving there just a lack of communication and honesty about our true feelings and inhibitions in this era.
i Hope all you men can relate to this and i hope women can appreciate this even if you dont like it because its just one guys calling things as they are.
take care everone and see you in the clubs\bars\raves
peace.
