What an ass.
Ok ok.... I'm not from SF but I have heard/seen some of these DJs spin before. Quite a few of them have played down here in LA, yeah at SPUNDAE/CIRCUS and at other local clubs.
TAJ was one of the first few DJs that played at Circus when Giant was there.
I VOTED!!! FOR TAJ!

My picks for this year.... There are more of course so it was very hard to pick from the list..
Shawn Yapa (not listed)
Turbine (not listed)
James Williams (not listed)
Marz Fahram
Cyber Joe
Jonathan Ojeda
Scott Carelli
Andrew MD (not listed)
Dirty Duo (not listed)
and myself...
DJ Blurr, and Beaver are guys to check out and hopefully their names will pop up next year on the list. Lots of energy in thier music. Keep up the great work.
Like I mentioned before, SF has an abundance of talented djs pushing thier own sound and thats what makes this city special in my eyes. LA has thier own group of rockin djs and Im looking forward to hearing them down there for NYE.
In the end, it doesnt matter who's genre is best because the scene would get boring really fast if we all played the same thing.

I see that Alibi was on the list. So I guess that includes Ish and his crew then too?
Taj. I saw Gianni on there?
Actually there's a DJ named Alibi. Its not AlibiSF Parties. Ismael is the only DJ at this Moment from AlibiSF thats in the Poll.

I've been mixing it up with John Beaver for years now and not many people have as much heart as this guy when it comes to music.
if you haven't checked him out yet, i suggest to catch one of his shows.

Thank you John...Much respect... Keep up the good work you have been doing...You are a great DJ with lots of passion...This will get you far...
almost forgot what the whole thread was all about with all the whining.
Taj-
all i have to say is that even though he is very busy at those nights at 1015 he always somehow found some time to take care of us. I felt welcome everytime...
the first time i saw him Spin he dropped the dirtiest electro track i've heard so far... i made Beaver do some research to find out which track it was... all together no complaints at all...
fuck people who are too bored or simply want their post response counter to go up and therefor leave dumb comments.
Nobody desreves to be #1 more then you do. You are an amazing DJ and your admiration for the music is immeasurable, and furthermore your are so sweet. My one and only vote goes to you TAJ!

What I love about Taj is he's so versatile. People mainly know him for his trance, but he's also great at playing breaks and house. And mixing it up sometimes in his sets.
Lots of DJs try to play multiple styles, but very good are good at it.
SF is lucky, I must say. And it's unfortunate that I cannot make it out nearly as much as I used to to check him out (had a baby, ya know? ).
Now only if I could ever get a M-Audio Firewire 410. Then I could drag my laptop around and play some MUSIK. I'll never be able to afford one, though.

dude
just get one of their usb units. You don't need the full blown firewire 410 in most cases of laptop DJing...
for starters the 2 audio output card works perfect with almost no latency at all...
