I would like to thank you for coming to this thread as I would like to use your mindset, however serious it is, as an example of the common mindset of the American citizen; perhaps even as the paragon for the untermensch of our time.

We are taught to fit in, taught to conform and to act appropriately for fear of social reprisal, sometimes even authoritative punishment, as seen in the video and by "innocent" onlookers who witnessed the incident firsthand. It's something indoctrinated into us(Americans? westerners? whomever) from birth - in our stories, in our "culture", in our mindset. Take Santa Clause for example - what's the whole point behind it? Somebody is always watching you, watching if you're being good or bad, watching your every move waiting to see where you fuck up and punish you for it. The panopticon.

We are brought up to live in a world where our lives are not our own and the only reason we are alive is because somebody, somewhere, has decided to not push a button and make us die. In this world, we are lead to believe that our lives are not our own and that questioning is a dangerous thing, especially when you question an authority that has grown larger than any human being.

And it's all in your head...

Until they make you say the pledge of allegiance with a fucking gun to your head.

So where does it end? Does it? What do you guys think? I see it only getting worse, and all attempts to fight back are labeled as terrorist activities, villified by an american people that have been infected with propaganda ensuring their swift death if they allow something new, something avant-gard and liberating to rid them of their mind control infection. So how is it to be stopped?

Does anyone even care anymore? Look at how awful authority treats us in 2006. This is an extraordinary abuse of power. I can't even express outrage, it's just... too much..

theres not need he was asked to leave..and diddnt co-operate...he was asked many times...but he wouldnt listen so....

listen, forgetting your ID is common on campus. and usually if you tell the pretencious mini-authoritarian pricks to fuck off, they do.

this occasion was an example of a common thing getting blown up to rediculous proportions.

also, im not sure if youre aware (im not) but i imagine itd be very difficult to walk with all that electricity flowing through your body.

Yes I am describing society.

Without it, we would be social with and towards one another.

But seriously, I do not know when things changed...perhaps, at the root of it all, they truly haven't. Seems logical to believe that there have always been those in power and those underneath the authority who are helpless to resist...

Seems a sad human condition to me. I can see how some people are comfortable with it though - it favours them. So when does it end? Death? Even in death, are we to be judged by some higher authority for the sins against society in our previous life?

Why must a man be forced to cooperate? Do what we tell you to or else you shall be met with violence? Since when did this become ok?

whats worse is that we teach this at school.

if you dont co-operate, you will be expelled. you'll be worthless. you will pay later in life.

wtf whats hindering more potential geniouses, abortion or our educational system?

Yet we live in a world where people believe that there is a God, a being that judges us at all times and rewards us when we do what it tells us to. Is this God in an oval office? Is this God raised on a pole at every sunrise to be saluted and battered around in the wind? Despite this hazy lack of substantial consensus, people will die for their God. Not only that, they will take your life for their God; for their reward.
