That's the spirit Zild . I can't honestly say what I would do if I was in a situation like that. I'm very patient, but can only tolerate so much disrespect. I certainly wouldn't let anyone, don't care how big or intimidating they are, trample all over my dignity. I've lashed out before when my buttons were being pressed. But the reason I'd want to avoid that, especially when it comes to a cop, isn't only to avoid legal complications, but the fact that I could end up seriously injure someone. I did Wushu (the flowery eyecandy you see in Hong Kong Kung Fu flicks with no practical application) for 2 yrs, but in combination with working out with some of a couple of real martial artists and learning from them. That really makes me want to avoid confrontations of any type. One of them was a guy who lived in my dorm and was trained by Shaolin monks (how badass is that!) The other, a buddy of mine, started training in various southern Kung Fu styles (including Wing Chun), Chin Na, and different Japanese grappling systems since the age of four. The fact that I've gotton lazy and haven't practiced for over a year now would only encourage me to minimize risks. I typically go for the throat, eyes, groin, temple, shins, and other areas that could end up in serious injuries, even fatal, to begin with. So if I got into a physical confrontation, I seriously doubt my natural response wouldn't be a critical strike.

EDIT: Plus, I'm not a big guy, only 5'8, or the stongest or most intimidating person. Another reason I fight fairly dirty if I have to, to end the fight as quickly as possible at minimal expense to myself.
