Never saw that game, Barca held great possesion it made Liverpool look like idiots. But that final goal was offside imo.

Thought Id make a comment on the celtic vs milan game.

Overall I can't be too disappointed with the 0-0 result as Milan are a far superior side, but with all milans supposed problems in front of goal and in defence I really thought we would have nicked a goal against them.

Milan's discipline and shape when they never had the ball was amazing, the way they closed down our two danger men mcgeady and nakamura was very good and must have been hard to play against. That said I thought we played pretty poorly overall, our two wing backs wilson and naylor gave nothing in the way of attacking threat like they have done already in the champions league, naylor especially looked like he had a dose of stagefright, maybe he is just tired as he has played every game recently and taken some really heavy tackles along he way.

I Still believe we can go through if we lift our game a level as milan offered very little in the way of attacking threat and I think with nakamura's free kick's we are always capable of nicking a goal.

I think if we play 5 in midfield, lennon, sno, nakamura, mcgeady and gravensen as a supporting striker then we should be able to stop the milan midfield totally over running us, while maintaining a decent presence in their half of the field.

Can't wait for the return leg, should be a decent match.

Totally agree with you chesco... 0-0 can be a tricky score to deal with.

Some friends of mine are already over confident about their Milan team going through easily, but I don't know... I still think it will be a very close match in Italy as Celtic's defense is very strong too in my opinion.

I was expecting more offensive presence from you guys, but not having received a goal is still good. I really hope you get through...

I'm reasonably pleased with that result too. We only need a draw now.

And I'm really surprised that in those comments you didn't once mention the absolute disgrace that is Gilardino.

For those that didn't see it...

I've berated him on other boards and in other coversations.

I was sitting right down in the corner here he made the disgrace of a dive and I was honestly in shock at what I was seeing.

it was highly embarrassing.

Looking forward to the return leg, got my flight confirmation through yesterday so will be in milan for 10.15 for a good days boozing before headng of to the san siro for the match.

Inter had that coming. They tried to kick chunks out of valencia in milan, and after what Materazzi did to sorin, I can only laugh & say "fuck you inter" after that incident. As a valencia fan I hope they ban navarro for a few games, he's not that good anyway
