Then fill it full of old people looking for a place to die out of the cold (uhhhh no, so much cellulite! ~BARF~ put your clothes on damnit!) young people full of dope, tons of people no sensibilities which simply cannot be bought with money and everyone else that wasnt in the obscenely rich category wandering around dazed and confused from the heat
Which is a pity really as the outdoors areas which havent been covered in concrete yet are very pretty.

Aye. As Longshanks said "The only problem with Scotland, is its full of Scots!"

in the case of Miami, its crap because of the people. If it was full of industrious people trying to make it an epicenter of culture...

but, lollerskates at the thought of Miami having culture (in the vienna sense)

Don't miss this

Shark Valley is a must do in Miami. It's a 15 mile loop of pavement constructed by an oil company in the 1950's to (what else) look for oil. It's now a park where you can walk, ride a bike, or ride a tram around. Forget about the trams, they go the opposite direction and you'll see one about every 30 minutes.

I've gone there when the parking lot was full and I barely saw another human on the road.(except for the trams) It's actually a great place to take a date, very romantic. Winter is the time to go because of the skeeters.

There is a 3 story lookout tower half way around with a river passing by. Usually you'll see 12 foot plus gators, huge turtles and fish and many kinds of birds. It usually takes about 4 hours to bike around because you don't want to hurry, so take a lunch.

I bet there aren't many frogs in the city, either.

Hmf. Better get a friend with a car. It's about 30 miles straight west in the middle of the Glades. Oh yeah, don't miss the BBQ stand that's halfway there.

sounds like australia, except they are bigger here...

I understand what you are saying. i visited miami once and i liked it, but i could never live there. i cant stand the warm weather and the fact that there would be no snow. i am dealing with that now and I HATE IT.

i think the difference is north vs. south. i find a lot of northerners dont really like the south, too warm etc. what also bugs me is that people arent as fast paced like in NY. i hate walking into a store and having someone say hi to me, like they do down south. in sydney they arent as friendly, but still there is no fast pace to things.

but i understand how you feel.
