The Stand By is incredible but the Talk time is average at best.

My fucking point-and-shoot camera has a landscape/portrait sensor and it's a about a year old, nor was it revolutionary when it came out. Leave it to Apple to sell existing technology as revolutionary.

I bet your point-and-shoot camera screen does not work anywhere near as smooth as the new Apple phone. Check the demos on the Apple site.

Revolutionary my ass most wide screen keyboardless PDA Phones can do the landscape/portrait, Palm had touch screens from back in the days. All PDA Phone's batt life is horrific, you got a lot to power up and hi res or mid res screens take a lot to power up.

The revolutionary stuff isn't the fact it's a touch screen - it's the touch detection and UI design. Also, keyboardless PDA phones are optimized for a stylus... iPhone's touch detection is optimized for just your fingers.
