Analog Pussy were actually doing something illegal to generate more hits on their songs...thats why they got kicked. If you looked at the charts, they had like 5 songs in the top 10 and they weren't anything super amazing.

Yes, I'm not sure if Sandstorm was discovered on mp3.com but I do know Darude was on there for some time.

PPK I guess but they REALLY aren't the typical mp3.com artist (how many of them get to #3 on the UK charts?)
same with Above & Beyond since they've gotten big.
A couple of other producers make good stuff (Lightworks, Boy Trance, among others) which could be big if run through some professional equipment to work the kinks out.
