If your mates push over he'll remain under the thumb and you'll drift apart. This happened to an ex mate of mine his gf was a nasty piece of work. He paid for everything, she was mega domineering he couldn't leave the house without there being a blazing arguement, if he managed to slip away he'd get bombared with grotty texts and phone calls. A couple of my mates found out she was sleeping around with a work colleague it became common knowledge for a lot of people and he became a bit of laughing stock. His best mate sat him down and had a word with him about his missus in end he threw a massive strop and told everyone where to go. So tread careful mate.

If she's a right spiteful cow as she sounds you might lose your mate in the end. What I'd suggest is you and the rest of your mates need to act as a group, go out and do your own thing your mate won't turn up because his under the thumb, but invite him out then the next day text or ring and say what a laugh you all had. He'll end up realising that he has no social life.

I'm very lucky now as I get on with just about all my friends other halves.

I've been in a very similar situation, but it was a wee bit more complicated (and less dramatic):

I introduced one of my best mates to a friend of my girlfriend's. Eventually, they became a couple as well. My gilfriend's friend then decided I was a threat, since I had the attention both of her boyfriend and (naturally), my girlfriend. She soon invited my girlfriend to share an apartment with her.

However, she would often slag my girlfriend off, so they didn't really get any closer. And, she cheated on my friend soon afterwards. A break up was inevitable.

Conclusion: Don't worry. I doubt this situation you mentioned will last long.

what about something subtle, like cyanide, polonium 210, or 26 stabs in the back?

Good suggestion.

I think it'll be better off if she gets thrown to the Aussies.

If you ever see the film Wolf Creek, you'll know what I mean.

for a while (like 2 minutes) i contemplated this. then i remembered how everyone else thought she was a bitch too. that is, everyone else except my friend, who admitted she was a hideous bitch afterwards.

but she was especially bitchy to me. and no one could ever figure out why.

at the moment tho, she acts neutral around me. who would've guessed... eh. i always thought it to be logical for a girl to try to get her bf's friends to LIKE her.

you two lack reading comprehension

She’s an idiot. A girl should never come between her man and his friends. I’ve always gotten along with my boyfriends’ crew. I mean, as far as I know, they never had a problem with me tagging along. If anything, I was worse than they were with the comments and crude jokes and always made them laugh. My ex boyfriend’s best friend would actually invite me out sometimes even when my ex couldn’t or didn’t want to go out.

Obviously the only time it’s ok to not like your boyfriend's friends is if the friends are destructive and could cause him to get in trouble. But then again, if I was dating a guy and his friends were a bunch of fucking morons who were always acting up and getting in trouble, that would turn me off and I wouldn’t want to date him.

Oh and chicks who are like that are probably jealous that they have to share time with the guys. It's lame.
