i totally agree with you. people have become so selfish that they exist soley for pleasuring themselves and won't compromise on anything. i've never understood people who say "well that's just who i am" about things that bother the person they're with. if they really cared, they'd work on it because it's important to the other person, and really we're all still too young to be hiding behind that lame line. being in a relationship or friendship means compromise.
