Blair Thomas gets no love

actually i saw some highlights of sanders recently. He was by far the best at running the football, by A LOT. But if we are going by complete game I still say marshall.

Forget the era talk and whatever else, Gretzky is undoubted best ever. - NO player past/present disputes that..

As for football, the ONLY guy who could even come close to comparing to Pele is Maradona...Best is miles behind them

^^^^^ Dude, Pele himself said to everyone that he was second only to George Best and he still maintains that today. He sent a signed football to Best before he died saying "second best football player in the world" or something like that.

And not everyone agrees that Gretzky was the best hockey player! Don Cherry still says that Bobby Orr was the best, as does Ron Maclean from CBC. Gretzky had a shitload more protection in his day, while Orr did not. 70s NHL was a fuck load rougher than the 80s NHL. I love Gretzky and he was the best I ever saw, but nearly every time he was touched, there was a penalty.
