To many people, having sex equals being in love, but not all. Also, I've noticed there is a difference in how Americans approach this topic vs. Europeans. People in North America seem to have very idealistic, romantic view of sex and relationships, while Europeans are much more pragmatic. I know for a fact that many wives in Germany send their husbands to prostitutes (BTW completely legal in Europe) when they're "not in the mood".

Pragmatism is doing things that are practical.
It isnt practical to have a thriving prostitute community to send husbands too. Its more practical to have a relationship with someone you want to have sex with.
It isnt pragmatic, its such a lowering of standards and a release of all the fun in a relationship that has sent GERMANY most of all into a wild population decline.
