assuming you're in a mix then yeah obviously its the outgoing track.

but a trick i use sometimes during a buildup (right before the kickdrum hits) or when a new synth/sound is going to start ill cut to the center of the x-fader and do a spinback with the track im cueing

the problem with spinbacks is although they sound good when used moderately...a lot of people who use them use them WAAAY to often and it gets annoying

although i do agree with d-syde on the volume thing

Hmmm, I wonder how it would sound like? This is something new to me.

Cool

About the phasing thing, I have 2 copies of the Angelz Remix of Out Of The Blue and the Safri Duo remix of Tremble, I tried it with both, and found that if you hav 2 hav it perfectly on beat 4 it 2 wurk. Also it sounds good if u hav it 1 beat off but totally on beat

Yeah I finally got around to try it (phasing)..it does work. But, if you have an effects processor (which I do) its MUCH better just to use that. You'll have more control over it overall. Its still fun to mess around with, but it seems like you dont really have much control when it comes to how much and when exactly you get the effect.
