Me and my friends have concluded that there is some sort of positive random card generator for new players. It seems like we always are on a huge roll when we sign up w/ new accounts, and then after a while, everything goes down hill.

This could be a coincidence...but it has happened way to often to us.

It is a good way to get players to keep playing and stuff like that, and attract new players... but still...it seems a little fishy.

i think so as well. whenever i cash in, i always go on a good run but lose it for a bit but then come back. like on jungle, i cashed in with $60 i was up to 110, then went dry and dropped to $40 then now im at 330... i think its a way to get rid of the fishies and make them keep cashing in.

the cards you get are completely 100% random.... on pokerstars i know this at least. I suggest playing online poker for real money though because it is the only way to improve your game. People know that ultimately play money means nothing, so they don't give a crap about what they push with, etc. I'm looking to improve my heads-up game though, so PM me if you are interested in playing against me on pokerstars. havokddg is the tag I go by.

Has there ever been a TA Poker game? Like an official one? not just like TA friends playing together, but a huge tournament open to anyone?

I'd be willing to help set that up if there is demand. Something cheap, like $20 buy in...top 5 get paid or something (depending on how many ppl join I guess) etc.

But yeah, you can't play poker if its not for money...no skill can be learned from that. Like someone already said, even if its $0.01/$0.02 blinds...you can still learn something.

This sounds like a good idea to me

Hopefully I get a job soon in the GTA and move up there....if so I could even help set this up.
