+1. def is a stepping stone. ex. when benassi came to london 2 years ago, a lot of 'haters' became 'lovers'. they realized that house is not as bad as it can sometimes convey. I wish london would have a few more events that are big enough to grow the scene more... but again... its london

I'm sorry to hear most of you didn't like it. This was my first time out to see a house DJ and I had a bomb ass time. I brought a couple of first timers too and they said they couldn't believe how much energy people bring to these kinds of events as compared to your usual shit hole party bar. I think the fact my friends were having so much fun is what kept me partying hard.

There were a couple of assholes in the crowd but no where near as bad as a Tiesto show or a downtown Buffalo bar. I got bumped into a couple times and every said sorry or excuse me and were nice, just one douche in a color print shirt that was walking through like an idiot.

As far as the tunage, I was expecting fun, LOUD, gritty beats and that's what I heard the whole night. Maybe I was so desperate to get away from school every thing sounded great. The 10 minute Satisfaction break down, well come on, it's just fun. I saw all the fans up near the booth loving it even if it is an old track. We stayed til closing and all had a hell of fun time and danced our asses off. And once the bar closed we had a lot of room to do so for the next 2 hours which was nice.

The only 2 negatives, too many glasses dropped on the floor almost made me trip and it was way too fucking cold out side when I needed some air.

I really didn't mind Benassi last night. I stayed til the end of his set, and it was ok. I wasn't expecting anything mind-blowing. He played regular club house hits that suited his sound. What did you guys expect from him??? To hear the best set evar!??

He had the dancefloor packed, people were having a good time, maybe that's all I was expecting out of it, and I was happy with that.

As far as the crowd goes... umm... Gino city! I forgot how Niagara Falls was But there were loads of hot women there, and had my fair share of strippers groping each other right in front of me on the dancefloor, haha, guess you could say that was the best part of the night
Not a very friendly crowd. I went in expecting a more down to earth crowd, but everyone there seemed to have that "look at me" look, which pissed me off... or maybe I'm just getting too old for this shit

From a technical perspective, Benny is not a very good DJ at all.

Agreed, but the man does play party tunes.

So if one goes for a technical exhibition they will be disappointed but if they go to party, dance and "do it" then it's great.

Think that's bad? When he played at Skybar during Labour of Love he dropped it twice within 15 minutes! hahahaha. Thankfully his later set at the Guv was decent.
