Who waits in line for 30 mins, and then pays $25 cover to go to the orange room to listen to rap????

at such a big EDM event like this, why dont they have like techno or dnb or something in there instead......

like does anyone actually go to ultra spin and just stay in the orange room all night???? or maybe its just a place for people to dump their non-EDM friends

All i gotta say is that The Scumfrog killed it last night! that guy really impressed me. I was in the guv for the first 30 min of Sanders set, he was playing some killer tracks but i just couldnt dance do them due to the over crowdness so me and my buddy moved to the drink. Once we were there we just couldnt leave.... The Scumfrogs skills and the way hes able to react with the crowd was amazing... will definetly check him out again if he ever comes back.

BTW anyone know any of the song names that he played? esspecially the first one.. thx

Max was oustanding, as OK as Sander was, Max fucking took him to school. Max turned on the magic like 14 times. It was the best I've ever heard mainroom, the sound was so fucking crisp. Not only that but it was HONESTLY the first time I've really seen mainroom GO OFF that many times. The whole room was pulsating.

Max could have EASILY played until 2-3pm, and it still would have been busy. Every track kept gaining more and more momentum. Fuck, they had to turn off the lights AFTER they had turned them on again. HAHA That was awesome.

In terms of Guv madness chaos goes, it was a 10/10. People walking into walls, punchups, washroom drama, amazing music, bouncers going crazy. ETC ETC WHAT A FUCKING NIGHT.

haha, dude I wish I could get a full track listing for his set. he was pounding it non-stop. by far the best dj of the night imo. great interaction with a lot of energy. I will definitely be checking him out the next time he's in town too.

Got into the kool haus around 11:00 the dj that opened was

Kenneth Thomas came on he got the party started awesome

anyway, Cribster, Kat and moi got to Guv around 10, got in around 10.30 (what a pile of bs those guest list line-ups are, regular line was moving so much faster then ours was, even though it was longer ). Had my room to dance, chatted with peeps next to me, then eventually some TA's found me and we had some mini dance-offs... I really liked what Sander played last night (what was that ATB - Killer remix?!?! anyone?), the way he smiled and interacted with us was awesome too... thank GOD none of the cheesy overplayed tunes were played! Grabbed him after for a small chat (Mikey I showed him the txt msg, he was very touched) and some pics... all in all my best 2 and half hours of US12
After Sander was done, we decided to head back Kool Haus for some hands in the air trance, Blank and Jones were pure awesomeness! I literally was standing and just enjoying the tunes like that. Rank 1 after them started off with fairly predictable set, so we called it a night at 5am.

As always, it was the people who made the night better - my partner in crime Kat, Cribby, Jaxy, Jenn+Jenn, Sonja, AJ, Dima, Robstar and Jamie, and everyone else I had a pleasure of running into last night of course a good chunk of me was missing last night due to unfortunate circumstances
