I have a fuckload of music, but I'm sure that I've heard all of my music at least a couple of times, if not much much more.

Plus it's great to have a large collection to reference.

Innit. Also feels great that I will ALWAYS have something new to listen to.

Ya, I have to disagree with ya Jamie. I understand if people say " you have too much music to listen too and you'll never listen to it all " but like distant said, he'll always have something new to listen too. I don't get a TON of music ALL at once and be over loaded with that I don't know where to start, I just gradually build up my collection.

I do feel overwhelmed sometimes by the amount of music I have and trying to find time to listen to it all. I have a 250gb hard drive mostly full and racks and racks of cds. Problem is that I like so many genres of music and so many artists from each. It is nice though to be able to pull out a cd at any time that I haven't listen to in ages. Best part is when you have a large music collection, you'll always have a cd or song that fits whatever mood you're in.

iLLogic, have you tried checking the "part of a compilation" button in the track info? It sorts those tracks under compilations/album name/track name, only downside is there's no artist folder.

I have one program that beats both Winamp and Itunes. Its called Media Monkey, look into it. Its not very pretty but you can completely customize it, you just need to know what youre doing. Itunes is good for a small library, Winamp is good for a medium size library, and Media Monkey is the best for a huge library. Like 150gigs+ the only downside is that it doesnt play movies, but hey, thats what VLC is for.
