Throwing a classic in there is just sweet.
Spinning classics like that in the EM takes balls.
I'd say Prydz has stayed fairly fresh and call on me cant be compared to his productions as a whole. It was just something he did so he could break through. He's produced a gazillion tracks and four of them are commercial?

I bet your the kind of guy to bash every guy that plays a track you've heard before? Does it always have to be ZOMGIDIE ID UNRELEASED

Sweden > Timbuktu

Peace.

I am an Eric Prydz fan and I thought that EM was painfully boring. Throwing a classic in an EM doesn't take balls, people have been doing that for years.

Coincidentally, Oakenfold spins this Friday and Prydz next Friday in the same club in Munich, Germany. I might attend both gigs.

I haven't had much trance recently, maybe that's why I loved that Askew-mix. Especially because of the Activa-tune. I'm always open for debating, but didn't expect so many people to actually listen to that Prydz-mix in here. Thus, at the SHM-forum it had a big impact.

So Danny is the man...? Just got his mix and will check it out.

yeah I have to agree with you. Being a huge Prydz fan myself, I have to say that the EM was very bad.. I liked maybe a couple of tunes in there.. (Partial Arts-Trauermuzik is beautiful ) But most of the tunes were just really repetitive..

So Ill have go back to listening the Danny Howells Essentialmix..

The Prydz one was alright. But why listen to or argue over either of these overtly if you have the Howells EM?

You honestly couldn't tell it was him? He is about the most obvious (and annoying) alt in recent memory. Besides Radagast, Arcadia, and Nou.

Though I kind of like Radagast.

there were subtle differences i thought, 'trancepunkk' came across as cockier whereas 'gamemaster' just seems a bit dense. i found radagast a hell of a lot easier to pick out

what were arcadia & nou's alts? i'm pretty out of the loop with things like this ;/

arcadia - djmaxima
Nou - The Riddler, Pen2 or something like that, a bunch of number ones, he's got like, 25 I swear.

His DJing I cannot comment on, but his productions and for the most part his lable might as well be one tune.

Notable exceptions are things like:

Arc in the Sky - Vainqueur (Dub to the Climax Mix)

minus 50000000000000000000000, askew kicks the shit out of any trance dj by miles, you have to listen to his music to appreciate whats going on. take the door, eat the rich, blackout, all or nothing, all very different, and kick the crap out of 95% of music released today. hes doing a great job running discover, and at least being different about the whole trance approach these days. his em is good, not the best, but you really have to see the man in action to appreciate how good he actually is.
