that is a valid point to not want to see one dj playing strictly ONLY their stuff. i'm not saying i want them to play only their stuff and nothing else. it's nice to hear some other music and it's nice hearing the djs incorporate their styles of music with other tracks from other artists. it's good their supporting ther fellow djs and styles and tracks they and the listeners like. i think it's important to mix and match but not stray too far from styles in that current set/tracklist.
i'd just like to see something like this:
1. DJ A - track A
2. DJ A - track B
3. other dj
4. other dj
5. other dj
6. DJ A - track C
7. other dj - (DJ A remix)
8. other dj
9. DJ A - track D
10. other DJ - (DJ A remix)
11. DJ A - track E
not DJ A playing two tracks of his out of 11, and/or playing too many different styles that don't match with the set that is being played.
maybe i'm just being overzealous about my favorite djs playing more of their songs because i want to hear them in the club when they are present.
demoted, i could listen to a full set of markus schulz only with no problems, lmao. |
that's one horrible set right there. you really don't seem to understand the point of a dj. dj is a dj, not a producer. producer is the one who produces music. dj is the one who plays other people's music. you don't like djs. you like producers. you'd like to listen to producers, not djs. therefore i suggest you find yourself some other genre, like rock. or then limit yourself to electronic music live acts which are few and far between.
you really should understand the point of a dj and the difference between a dj and a producer.
