Ok now you made my point. Chances are we are a fluke but so can thousands of other planets be a fluke and their is life on it now. Mistakes are common and that alone should be more than enough to convince you that their may be life out there. Now if we are a mistake than I can understand that all "intelligent" life is stupid because it wasn't planned for it to be.
