Then I'm sure it's good, I'm also inclined to believe my gf, who was at mansion, over some rando people on a board.

Agreed. I thought S&D were very solid @ Ultra - I'll be the first to admit I know nothing about technical issues but the sound coming off the decks was of a very high caliber.

Sadly, only the first hour seems to have been recorded, which is a shame because the 2nd hour and change was sickness, imo.

Or maybe Sasha's computer ran out of batteries @ Mansion, or maybe he was PMS'ing and ran out of midol so he couldn't play good, or maybe Digweed was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome from DJing so long, or maybe Digweed couldn't see the mixer through his long hair. Excuses excuses. Give me a break. Whether it was indoors or outdoors, rain or shine, Sasha & Digweed sucked @ WMC, deal with it.

Or maybe you just don't like Sash & Dig because everyone else seems to have had a great time lol

There was no killing of Mansion what so ever. The 2 weren't even into their set. Probably because they were playing for a bunch of fake ass prissy fags. Half of the crowd was just standing around talking the entire time. Digweed barely looked up from his decks and I promise you he never put his hand in the air once. Sasha stood around and smoked a few cigs looking up occasionally.

I'm into their music but something was very off this night. Maybe it was the vibe of Mansion but as hard as I tried I could NOT get into their set... believe me I tried after paying $50 to get in.

Different strokes I guess...

Let's be honest, reviews have been mixed at best. But I am not gonna argue with you anymore, because things already got ugly for nothing because there is nothing to argue about or win here. If you like them, see them, if I don't I won't.

BTW I have been a fan of theirs, but always liked Sasha alone better than S&D together. And recently I have not liked what they have been playing, and did not think you guys should have attacked people when they stated negative opinions b4 I ever posted in here, so I chimed in and it lead to needless BS. I am sure we all have bigger fish to fry now that WMC is over and it's back to real life.

Peace.

being that you said in your OP this was your first time seeing either dj, i'm gonna let you in on a little secret.

digweed is not an animated dj, he is always focused on the decks/mixer, it's the way he's always been and the way he'll always be.

my gf went to this gig and she said she saw sasha more animated behind the decks than she's ever seen (jumping around n what not)

"I’m a dance floor favorite? Great! I would say the passion that I feel for the music I buy and the honesty with how I play it. I play the records I love not the ones that simply work. I’ve never taken the easy music option (which would make me a lot more money by the way) but chosen to push people a little. I try to draw people in a new direction slightly and expand their taste a little more than other DJ’s." - Lee Burridge

Point taken about Digweed.

Sasha didn't seem into it to me....

I'm glad you guys had a great time... me or my 3 friends just didn't enjoy the music... we agreed it was a bit 'boring'. Mansion was terrible too...

Not trying to piss on Sasha and Digweed fans...

So what your saying is that this set topped any twilo gig ever?

Nathan Fake - Outhouse (Valentino Kanzyani mix)
Deff got us going toward the middle of the set. I have to admit I left at 4 am but up until that time I never really felt like they had that twilo thunder that I felt at space last march.

When Sasha came on after Digweeds slow first hour, the place went nuts. I thought there set was great, and after all the bad reviews of Mansion, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience.

Well I would take the reviews on this board with a grain of salt. Alot of these trance headz wouldn't know what good progressive was if it hit them on the head.
