it would piss me off only being able to move in .05 increments, i love my 1000's

.1 is plenty. Anything more accurate is just an added bonus.

the 0.05% is fine on the cdj800's. im using cdj200 and the .02% is great. but using cdj800's with .05% doesnt seam any less accurate. its nice to need to correct every now and then otherwise it gets too easy.

Also don't forget that to really make use of .02% pitch accuracy, guess what, you have to train your ears to be that accurate

The gear won't help you there.
