Hello all...

This is actually my first post on TA.

I came from Cleveland, OH to see the show with a friend who'd never been to see any kind of live EDM show. In fact, he'd never really even heard EDM before. Needless to say, he was a little shell shocked and looked like he was going to vomit all night.

We got there at about 11 to see BJ's last couple hours. I think when we got there, it must've been a more laid back spot in his set, 'cos I really wasn't feeling it. Toward the end, he got better, but when AVB came on, it was instant pleasure for me.

I have to agree with most about the pushy people. They sucked. You could tell that lots and lots of folks were really courteous and happy to be seeing the show. Then there were the others.

Who was that asshole in the white hat in the middle/rear of the floor? Jesus.

I had to leave at 2:30, and that was the biggest crime for me. My friend had to work at 8 a.m. on Sat., so that sucked for me. But I was really happy I got to see him.

I hope to meet some of you folks out there sometime.

All the best...

Ok - time for a proper review.
For me the night deserves a big 10/10.

1. The club - perfect vibe, great people and I even liked the relocation of the DJ booth. Remo and his crew always make sure we are taken care of so congrats to them for pulling off another amazing event.

2. People - this is what makes all the difference in the world. I finally got to meet a bunch of TA's and party with a few familiar faces. Nada and Ali - you guys ROCK - I had the best time because of you guys - we definitly have to do it up again soon. Cenik - I was so happy you came over to our table for a while - and the pictures below are great - thanks for posting - I have a few great shots that I'll try to post here as well. Josh and Lisa - nice to finally meet you both - Lisa - wish you could have stayed a little longer...until next time!!

3. Armin - he did play an amazing set, as usual, but for sure not his best. It was a little too hard for me at times but I enjoy whatever he plays so it was all good for me. Glad he signed my vinyl and poster from the ladies room - thanks Nada.

4. Random things that happened throughout the night - the sewer exploding near our table - or at least that's what it smelled like. The 45 year old stripper-crew..."there should be an age maximum in here!!". The makeout session that seemed to last longer than Armin's set.

Again - thanks to BBR for pulling this together - I'm not sure I could see Armin at the Guv/KH and have this much fun.

M.

I AM in TO!!! But originally from Windsor...this was one of the first events that I've actually met quite a few TA's - figures it would be in Windsor. Next event in Toronto I'll come and find you - from what I've heard, I just have to look for the towel...

Looking forward to meeting you!
M.

Lol that's right! Beware of the towel fanning at hot and muggy points in the wee hours of the night!

The pleasure will be mine!

Do you wear boxing gloves at least?
You are bound to break a nail.
