If you do let the song run out almost and the bassline becomes more weaker, when you do slam in the bassline from the next tune, it can get quite the crowd going. Kinda like the lull in the storm effect. Some don't like that bit of a lull between transitions.

yea, the 'lull effect' worked a couple times, and it sounded good... but when there is a 30-60sec gap of just bass drum between almost every track it not only gets old, but totally ruins the flow of the set... and imo a world class international dj should do better.
If the programming and mixing of the night was better, i think I would have been one of the many people here going crazy over how great the night was.
