my buddy in the navy tells me they burn the coke and blow the ship up. first of all this ship is worth tens of millions of dollars and could be towed to port, cleaned up and sold/auctioned/donated to a research institute and yield a return on investment if our gov had a brain. second they could sell the coke to pharmacies at a subsidized price who could then distill it into lower cost medical cocaine. then maybe some of this money could help pay for the billion dollar a year losing drug war...
