Aside all the rubbish, Mike made up for the night. Top selections, and such a rich vibe. He threw it down nicely.
Hopefully, next party, we can hear him at a more EDM known spot!!!!!!!
Had this been Crobar or of the sort, the turn out wouldve been outstanding.
Its all about promotion & venue in the end.

P.S. any pix,vidz?

Thank you all for understanding the situation that we were in that night. Special thanks to all who inspite of the "door" and the "staff" of the venue still came out to support us and to have a good time on the floor. Many have PM'ed me and have expressed that inspite of everything IT WAS INDEED A GREAT NIGHT, it was like a very private party with M.I.K.E and they all had a blast. Appreciate all the comments all have posted and will deff keep them in mind for our next event.

This has only made our resolve stronger to come back soon BIGGER and BETTER. As of now we are back on the drawing board, re-thinking our strategy and re-searching more venues.

Hoping that the TA community will come out stronger to support the gigs that we bring to you puting in all that we have.

Cheers,
Sumit A.

That's pretty wack, you should be promoting a party you play at as much as the guys you're working with. However it is pretty easy to just pass it off.. you're right. The DJ should just show up and play records.

There was a bunch of people with problems at the door (that the Submerge crew assured would not happen) coming to me to help them with these issues, not to mention the first two pages of replies mentions "Strobe Life" and "Massive", being that people generally don't know who "Submerge" or the people behind it are. I felt the need to clarify that it wasn't my party this time around and I couldn't really do anything nor held responsibility. Don't be so quick to make statements as the one you just did, you don't know me and you don't know the resources and hard work I put into all parties I'm involved with. All of that aside, you sound generally clueless.

Granted, not sure if you know anything about the promoting of the party, but all of the guys selling tickets were Strobe Life promoters... Whether or not they pulled this time around, you should take back your very misinformed comment... I can handle someone telling me a set of mine sucks balls, but don't underestimate the work I put into any party I am involved with in any sort of way.

Yeah, that Love, what an awful, shitty, commercial vibe. It's definitely the next Marquee

Yea, seriously. What a shitty venue - nowhere to sit, boring decor, rude staff, never anyone I know there. Stay away from throwing parties there, everyone!!

.....no.

The way I read it made it sound a lot different than the way you have explained it to me now. I don't know how you guys do it in New York but up here in Montreal usually the DJs are the promoters and vice versa. I took your comment out of context and shouldn't have done that. My apologies. Sumit is a good friend and I have done a fair amount of work with the Submerge Crew in India and I wasn't sure what was going on after readng some of the comments posted.
