If you're into the post-rock Sigur Ros / Explosions In The Sky part of it, check out Red Sparrows, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, A Silver Mt. Zion (although the latter might be a bit too dark in relation to the general post rock scene). There's also a good Japanese post-rock band, but I don't remember their name.
