It's almost like dancing to ambient music....the music should reflect the experience, just as the experience should reflect the music. Not saying minimal totally sucks, but I just don't feel it's a genre that works on a dancefloor like trance, techno, house and breaks. |
not sure where exactly you're from, you're right, minimal can be boring like that. but if you go to somewhere in the world where the crowd is into it, you'll see dancing like the most bangin house/techno/whatevr you want can't touch with a 10 foot pole. i don't think america is quite that place, altho who knows what the future holds
go to berghian/panoramabar in berlin, cocoon or robert johnson in frankfurt, or dc10 on ibiza, you'll see what i mean
