well, depends...if you were to setup one laptop for synthesis, why would you transfer tunes on it ?

so actually faling back to the other lappy might be a bit difficult, but then again, it's really a matter of how it's setup.

Cocky as fuck!!!

But absolutley hilarious

Back to the thread, I saw PVD last week and I'm pretty positive he was using CDJ's and ableton...how? I dont know, but he never touched his synth that he had for whatever reason.

It was my first time seeing the guy, and frankly, I was pretty impressed by his energy and jumping around and what not. It was a great show, and believe me, im NO fucking PVD fanboy. Just not something that comes around here much, so I checked him out in Detroit and he put on a damn good show period.

Cheers to Nem for the gig, let us know how it goes~

His ability to do live mashups, remixes, edits, etc is exceptional ATM. He is creative and pusing the latest greatest technology... isn't that what DJing is all about? To whoever says he has no energy in his laptop sets has not seen a proper laptop set from him...

I saw pvd on ableton back in november, and he was for the most just staring at the laptop playing a set that could have easily been done with cdjs. The only difference was he used an annoying amount of effects.

really enjoyed pvd the first time I saw him using records and final scratch, and I'm sure he was even better when he had to go buy his records.
