Nope not yet, the lasers last night were temporarily placed, they have to move them and aim the lasers to the mirrors, but I say keep it where it is cause it looked nice from there.

well i got in there at 1am, just when eddie started. the guv felt awfully strange for the first 10 min. just didnt feel right. but i overcame that once i went up to the stage. i gotta say thats gonan be my favorite new spot.

eddies set was ok imo. this was my first time seeing him and will prob be my last. in the words of a very wise friend "seen him once, seen him a million times". i did enjoy his mixing and scratching skills. it was awesome to watch him work those cdjs and vinyls. the guy really has a lot of energy and is a great crowd pleaser. although he sometimes gets on borderline ridiculous on the effects. there were numerous times when i thought, ok can we plz have the track back. this was my first party since US12 and i had a great time overall.

some things to point out.

- the hydrolic booth is just stupid. there is no point to it. when it goes up, it creates a huge black wall that blocks everything. its even worse than when the booth was elevated before the renos. it would be cool however if it came out from under the stage or something during the start of the set. the only other reason i coudl see them doing it is so people in the back could get a better view.

- the new lasers are wicked! the main ones are green and come out one corner and the other ones are multi colored as i recall.

- the light wall is so-so. it does look better in person but i still think it looks a bit tacky.

- the stage is wicked! there are great views of the dj and it was a bit cooler up there as well, at least for me. the seating area is great as well. i can see it coming in handy during big events where i'll be there for a long time.

it was great seeing some people i havent seen in a long time.

ps. lisa, i feel bad for not coming down to say hi to u after u saw me. i came down a bit after but couldnt find you guys. did u leave a bit early?

wow eddie fucking ripped it. i was really really really enjoying his track selection. up untill i heard that one tiesto track i fucking hate. i felt my heart rip in two pieces. but he made it back up to me. lots of energy in the room danced my ass off. overall i give it a 8/10. the hydraulic dj booth is by far one of the stupidest things i have ever seen. it just goes up and you can see the dj after. what the hell is the point of that? it serves no purpose whatsoever.
