Have no idea why you are hostile to one of the few girls on this board. I may not be a trainspotting, navel gazing, trance addict, but I do love this music and have supported it for a long, long time right back to 1994.

Seattle may not have been the biggest scene in the mid ninties, but I remember buying my first Sasha CD and driving to San Francisco just to hear him (people didn't distinguish between progressive and trance so much back then).

I still love trance as much but I don't want to be part of politics and the meanness on this board. I just want to enjoy the music.

I admit that while I read TA every day and love hearing about new music, I don't post that often because of the negativity on the board. If I post, I am usually making a joke, like the Paul van Dyk air guitar thread, which was just meant to be fun. Ten people might enjoy what you read and respond positively, but there always seems to be one or two people (or one person posting under multiple identities) who says something nasty.

I don't like to retaliate because I think it just perpetuates the negativity, but it does upset me and leaves me feeling crappy.

I work for an attorney and am tough in our business. Nothing much upsets me but mainly because it's business and that's easy to detach from.

When I think about it, I seldom get upset, except sometimes on TA, probably because people are much nastier on here than they would ever be to your face.

I guess you might be making fun of me asking that question, but I'm being honest in my answer.
