it's a huge hassle. i knew a guy who was paid 20 grand [in installments, as the citizenship process moved forward] to marry a trinidadian chick for citizenship purposes. it seemed like easy money at first, but the interviews (scheduled and non-) and the various investigations and hoops he had to jump through were incredibly time-consuming and stressful and ultimately not worth the dough.
