oh dont get me started on guac i can eat that as meals alone - anyways i make a pretty killer home made guac, think ill make it this weekend for the week ahead and add it as a spread to my sammiches! score

fresh homemade guacamole with toasted tortillas straight out of the oven = FTW
store bought tortilla chips work great too, but they tend to be a bit too salty sometimes which can overpower the taste of the guacamole. if you toast the tortillas yourself and then break them up, you get so much more of the fresh flavors that are in the guacamole. if i'm using store bought tortilla chips i prefer Tostitos gold chips, which are a lot thicker and crunchier and not as salty.
store bought guacamole is a sin, imo. only way to eat it is when it's fresh and homemade. nothing beats that.
dont eat a whole thing before you go out drink unless there is a stocked and clean water closet near|

when i was 16, my bf took me out for Mexican at this awesome little restaurant in NY for Valentines Day. i wasn't very hungry so i ordered the guacamole which they chop up and make fresh for you right at your table, and i drank 2 margaritas with that. shouldnt have been a problem, but their margaritas were VERY strong, and then we decided to hit up another bar after dinner where he knew his coworkers would be, so i had a few more drinks on top of that. i was drunk, but didn't realize exactly how drunk i was until we got on the train to go home. we made it only a few stops north of Manhattan when i just turned around and puked guacamole all over the aisle... then stood up to walk to the bathroom (which was occupied) so i puked all over the aisle again. lol, and the conductor just covered it up with newspaper since i guess they didn't have anything to clean it up with.
looking back, i'm surprised i didn't get kicked off the train. it was NOT pretty.

technically i meant the other way around, so to say. but yes it can be volatile either way|
