I love dancing, it just tends to go with my personality as a DJ. But making the comparison stating that to be good at one to do the other isn't totally fair.

Being a good mechanic doesn't make you a good driver, but both could share the love of cars. Some people will be good at both.
It's all down to the genetics of the individual.

And yes, you must dance. If you can't spin on your head while you spin records, you're a bad dj.

i use to go out and dance all the time. but then i started djing
and now the only time i dance is when im djing.

and no you dont have to be a good dancer to be a good dj
i have seen some great dj's with some shity ass dance moves
but then again do you really care what you look like
when your rocking out, it is all about having fun right

I love to dance when I'm mixing, but I'm not a great dancer in general. I jokingly tell everyone that's one of the perks of DJing, "I can dance all I want to in that booth, and all you see is my head bobbing!"
