I believe a chuckle is what you're looking for. It's not like it has to have a certain duration in order to be a chuckle or not.

after much thought, and a few pieces of pizza, i think chuckle is wrong, because chuckle involves more than just one "heh". amiright? or is that chuckling can one chuckle just .... one heh?

if not, snaffs doesn't sound right either - because again it sounds like more than one "heh". and its too close to snafu.

i don't think there is a correct phrase/word....it's just an onemonapea (words that sounds like sounds)...i.e. BAM! ZORT! and various other batman phrases.
