it sucks now, so people think boxing is boring. It trickles down from the top, even though there are some unbelievable fighters in the other divisions, almost nobody cares about any of it.

You're right they need a better heavyweight division. It just seems silly to me watching two guys I could pick up and throw with one arm rabbit punch each other for points.

that liddell/ortiz fight was right up there with tyson's quickest ones

the good ones last longer, imo, but the sport still needs knockouts to maintain interest. late round KOs make for the most excitement, but when there are good fighters, it matters a lot less.

I love watching guys like Mayweather & Wright, but you're definitely in the majority on that one. Even though Floyd's one of the best welterweights of all time, imo, nobody even knew about him 'til the de la hoya fight.
