Exactly where it should be.

The 905ers are what is ruining the club district right now, let them ruin it over there and leave the prime land to people that can handle themselves.

Well, is just not the clubs:

This seems to be a concentrated effort on the part of the police and city to turn this city into some boring mormon city.

Protest anyone?

The grannies must be pleased that the rowdy young people are getting spanked

Sometimes I wonder if Toronto deserves to have any fun at all

expect more of this type of stuff in almost every facet of our society (not just nightclubs) as the two largest population groups at the moment, Baby Boomers and Gen Y come closer to butting horns..

the most recent Toronto Life magazine has a special report on the problems in the entertainment district. the underlying theme was that the entertainment district is mistreated by the "visitors" from the 905 area since they don't have to live here for the week like the rest of us. they come here, in buses, from all around, get drunk and rowdy, fight, get thrown into the drunk tank, and then do it all over again the next weekend.

right

Everyone that lives in the 416 is a fuckin angel... they never drink, they never get rowdy, they never fight...

Actually, I think that I did read an article on a study that explains how the area code in which you live has alot of influence in how you act.

didnt want to start a new thread so i'll just post it here.

for anyone interested, a couple of building along richmond are now sold and are going to be the site of a 19 storey condo which is just in front of scotiabank theatre and republik. while to the east i think its metro that will be its neighbour. some of the demolition has already begun.

taken from urbantoronto forum...
