Obviously not everyone goes the same route. But it would seem that house is the most popular genre to lean to after you've had your fill of trance (that is if you ever do get your fill). Would you agree on that or no?

As for me, yes, I'm now primarely a house listener/dj whether it be straight house, progressive, tech or electro. I also do throw in a little bit of breaks and techno when the mood strikes.

Was getting into house, but got bored with it. Trance just interests me more. But downtempo/chill out/ambient interests me even more than trance. Kind of tired of it and the newer stuff doesn't do it for me anymore. Once you've heard the same track over and over, you get sick of it. Chill out and ambient have more variety...some more melodic and ethereal, others jazzier and more rhythmic.

i love trance, but i'm a househead. i started out listening to trance and will always love it cause there is nothing like good trance and how it makes you feel, but since i have started mixing house and its various sub genres, i find that there is nothing i love more than a fly house track. just makes me wanna dance all the time!

I don't know, I don't tend to follow what other people lean to.

Never could seem to get into house, I just don't like it. Got a few old acid house tracks from way back but that's about it for me.

progressive house ftw!

cheeze/epic trance > armin style trance > tech trance (which I still like alot btw) > tech house > PROG house

i don't know what it is about prog house that just does it for me. It's so much more moving than trance imo. The basslines are so much more accentuated and vivid, and any shift in 'progression' just takes it that much further

edit: Papllion - Stephan Bodzin check this out.
Also, his new album 'Liebe ist' really explains what im talking about

I started liking house about 2 years ago, but I'm no hardcore fan. Absolutely way more into trance than house.
