Oh god, why is it that most of the people that are complaining are the ones that didn't go? Good lord, if you didn't go, than you shouldn't complain. You weren't there.

Anyhow... I HAD A BLAST!!!

THE MADNESS

To start off, I think this is by far, and I mean by far, one my all time favorite Tiesto shows. And yes, I was SOBER! No drugs, or alcohol for me. I think, who you go to the show with, has a big influence if you like it or not. If you go with a people who are just bitching, it will kill your night. I was lucky I went with 3 awesome girls who just happened to appreciate every moment of the night. That made it awesome for me too. We were all sober. No drugs, no alcohol.

For some reason, I seem to be one of the very few to have a smooth night. I got to the freeway off ramp around 9:45 and the line was HUGE! Lucky for me, I know my way around there and I have a secret parking lot that's never full and it's not an issue to get there. HeheheI made it from the freeway to my parking lot in less than 5 min, than I walked another 5 min to the line. And got searched within another 5 min. Total time from freeway to inside the venue, 15 minutes. Not bad at all.

While in line I saw Greg (TA), I called him to tell him there was no line where I was at, but he didn't answer. I had to leave a message. Than I ran into JT in line. Nice seeing you bro. Oh, and I saw a lot of people wearing DAFT PUNK shirts! hahaha

So we're inside the venue by 10pm. We walk around for a bit, I showed my girls the meetup spots just in case we get lost, got waters, and bam! Went right to the very front middle. I was right in the front. Look at Drew's crowd shot. You can see me on the bottom left. Hehehe

The front was a mess. We stayed there for the first half of the show. After that, we found a comfortable spot next to the fence that dived the VIP with the regular crowd. There was plenty of room to dance, plus we had the huge fans blowing cold air at us. That spot was ACE! We had a perfect view.

TIESTO

I wasn't feeling the animated Tiesto. It was blah, but the crowd seemed to enjoy it as they kept on screaming like if somebody was actually spinning. I thought it was kinda lame.

The first two scenes of the shows were pretty mellow, and I thought Tiesto was boring me. But once FIRE came on, HOLY SHIT! He kicked it up another notch. After Fonzarelli - Moonlight Madness, it all went out the roof. Fucken amazing. The show really took off from there and I didn't stop dancing. Very few DJ's make dance all night. Tiesto did last night. I really liked his FIRE Set. I hope he airs it on Friday. It was banging!

I was really surprised when he dropped ORBITAL - HALCYON ON AND ON!!!! I went nuts! The crowd didn't seem to know what it was, but I sure did! That song is old school!!! The vocals are enchanting!!! I went nuts!!!

He dropped quite a few classics last night and some older songs I haven't heard in a while. It was kinda like a mix of old Tiesto and new Tiesto.

TRACKLISTING

Orbital - Halcyon On and On
Moby - We Are Made of Stars
Pryda - Aftermath
Fonzarelli - Moonight Madness
CJ Bolland - The Prophet
All his hits... (Traffic, Adagio, Flight 643 etc.)

Parking is what it is. The lines could have been better organized but either way I got in on time.

Definitely more people this time than the 2005 show. If you were to compare the 2005 TIC to this Elements of Life tour than the 2005 show was much better.

Jes, was horrible imo and a waste of time. The animated Tiesto was GAaay! Especially when the animated Tiesto started doing back flips.

As said before "FIRE" was Fuckin awesome!!!
The visuals were nice. Wish there were more lasers but not complaining.
I really liked the the visuals but when the visuals came to the dance for life stuff and had nothing to do with the elements of the earth, that was kind of a buzz kill.

Highlights of the night for me was:

1. tears from the moon
2. flight 643
3. Silence
4. GOURYELLA!
5. Falling
6.Aftermath
7.NYANA!

Edit: The Legacy!

The last 45 minutes wasn't my cup of tea. Wished the set had more energy throughout but I had a blast anyways.

Julie Thompson was supposed to come and perform 'Do You Feel Me', & 'Something Inside' but she wasn't there! wtf I thought we would have at least that one live performance.

Oh and yes I'll be there NYE

I love that track! So chill, puts a smile on my face every time. I could have sworn when I heard it in Europe it had the vocals from Robbie Rivera - Float away. Was that a remix or just a smart DJ?

Here's my first video. It's super hi-res (400 Megs), but it's awesome! Watch the whole thing to see how bad ass this show was.

MUST SEE VIDEO
